São Paulo, May 1, 2025 – On Thursday, May 1, gamescom latam 2025 hosted a speed pitch session organized by the Government of the State of São Paulo. The initiative brought together Brazilian developers to present their projects to publishers from around the world. The action is part of the state’s broader effort to foster the internationalization of Brazil’s game industry and open new market opportunities for independent studios.
Among the participants was Lucas de Camilo, from 32 Pixels, who emphasized the importance of the event for the studio’s growth.
“We’re very excited to talk to the publishers! We’re looking for support in marketing our game so we can reach other territories. This is our first game, but we’ve been developing it for several years now. Last year, we won the Best Children’s Game award at the Big Festival, so being back at gamescom is very special—this event is part of our journey,” he said.
Events like this speed pitch reinforce gamescom latam’s role as a platform to foster the local creative industry, connecting Latin American talent with the international gaming market in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Another highlight was Claudette Pontes, who presented the narrative RPG Mil Corneli Pigs, a family-developed project created alongside her husband and daughter. “We come from the film industry and are now moving into games with this project, which is very special to us,” said Pontes. “We prepared detailed materials and a solid pitch. This initiative is amazing—it’s a unique opportunity for those just starting out.”
