São Paulo, May 4, 2025 – gamescom latam, the Latin American edition of the world’s largest gaming event, has confirmed the dates for its return in 2026. Next year, the event will take place from April 30 to May 3, with a VIP Day on April 29 exclusively for invited guests, press, and influencers. The venue remains Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, which has become a central meeting point for developers, publishers, business professionals, and fans from across the gaming industry.
The 2025 edition of gamescom latam was a resounding success, drawing 131,854 attendees over five days. Visitors had the opportunity to explore titles from leading industry players such as Nintendo, Niantic, The Pokémon Company, ID@Xbox, Warner Bros. Games, Bethesda, Ubisoft, Roblox, SEGA, Bandai Namco, Supercell, Garena, Arc System Works, and many others. A wide range of activations were also offered for both B2B and B2C audiences.
Throughout the event, attendees enjoyed hands-on demos of upcoming releases like Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, Garena Delta Force, FragPunk, Double Dragon Revive, Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact, and more. The program also featured meet & greets, keynote talks, panels, and appearances by popular cosplayers and influencers such as Creative Squad, Gaules, Brino, Coringa, and Kings League club presidents Nyvi Estephan, Toguro, and Cris Guedes, among others.
On the business side, more than 1,000 companies—including over 200 publishers—engaged in negotiations with studios from Brazil and across Latin America in the event’s B2B area. Based on scheduled meetings, the estimated business potential generated exceeds R$1 billion, with final figures to be released soon.
Held under Brazil’s Federal Law for Cultural Incentives, gamescom latam is supported by Banco do Brasil as its master sponsor; Claro, Seara, and TNT as event sponsors; APAA (Associação Paulista dos Amigos da Arte) and ABRAGAMES (Brazilian Game Developers Association) as B2B partners through the Brazil Games project; and Twitch and KaBuM! as additional supporters. The event is organized by gamescom latam, Omelete Company, Koelnmesse, Adesampa, the São Paulo Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development and Labor, the São Paulo State Secretariat for Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries, the Ministry of Culture, and the Federal Government of Brazil.
