São Paulo, 10 February, 2026 – Legendary composer David Wise, renowned for creating iconic soundtracks that have defined generations of players, has confirmed his attendance at gamescom latam 2026. The musician will take part in the event on Friday, 1 May, 2026, and Saturday, 2 May, 2026, hosting meet & greet sessions and delivering live musical performances on both days. The British composer began his career in the mid-1980s and has since established himself as one of the most influential figures in video game music. Known for a distinctive style that blends sounds inspired by nature with prominent melodic and percussive instrumentation, Wise has crafted unique atmospheres that have become benchmarks within the industry. Among his most celebrated works are the soundtracks for the Donkey Kong series, widely regarded as some of the finest ever produced for the SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System).
David Wise’s musical performance promises a deeply nostalgic experience for fans who grew up listening to his compositions. The shows will take place on Friday, 1 May, 2026, and Saturday, 2 May, 2026, on the event’s main stage — the gamescom latam journey stage.
