gamescom latam announces leadership restructuring and enters a new phase of growth

After three years of consistent growth, gamescom latam announces Ana de Wit as the event’s new General Manager.

Ana de Wit, previously Head of B2C Content, now takes the lead on event operations, as General Manager, while Gustavo Steinberg and Eliana Russi transition into strategic leadership roles. As Founding Partner, Gustavo will be now focused on commercial expansion and long-term vision. Eliana, also a founding partner,  takes on the role of Director of B2B and Government Strategy, strengthening gamescom latam’s institutional and corporate partnership fronts. The professionalization of management is the natural — and necessary — next step to sustain the growth trajectory in the years ahead.

“We’ve reached a point where the company needs to grow beyond its founders. Professionalizing management is the biggest move we could make for gamescom latam. And we couldn’t have chosen better than Ana to lead this phase.”

— Gustavo Steinberg, Founding Partner

“gamescom latam is more than an event — it is a strategic platform for the games industry in Latin America. And our focus is to ensure that our commitment to the industry, and to Brazil as an international showcase for the region, only grows stronger.”

— Eliana Russi, Director of B2B and Government Strategy

“It’s an enormous honor and responsibility. gamescom latam has an incredible foundation — community, credibility, and a lot of energy. My role now is to turn that into structure, without losing a single pixel of the soul this project has.”

— Ana de Wit, General Manager

The 2026 edition of gamescom latam marks the beginning of this new era with standout results: over 154,000 attendees from 51 countries, 175 exhibitors and co-exhibitors from 23 countries, more than 60 publishers on the show floor, over 60 launches, a potential reach of more than 546 million people, among other records.
